dreamsoffools answered: how big was it when you made it? If it’s not vector it’ll be hard to blow up.

Errr… I have no idea what any of that meant…. it’s the size of a business card?? I measured one and used those…

Double the canvas size, copy all the layers with text on, double in size…

If the drawing was on a separate file that would be good as it would be bigger already, but if not you might have to redraw it :3

But I’m not a photoshop expert, there might be an easier way… know any specialists?

Right. The actual drawing is smaller so that might have something to do with it… which makes me sound very thick now but I am computer-illiterate

I was too up until last year :/

Good luck! :)

There are over 20 hours worth of video tutorials on Lynda… I loose access to these in June when I’m no longer a UAL student… I think I know what I need to do with the rest of the month!

Yeah it’s a good idea to blow it up to double or even triple size if you’re creating a flat image in photoshop, just so that you know it’ll always be good quality, whatever the size.

Vector images are ones that never get blurry… How do I explain…. kind of like when you make it bigger, the pixels multiply instead of getting bigger. If you have illustrator it’s good to make vector images with :)

Do you still have the photoshop file for the card? If so you can translate it into a bigger file :)

Right…. how do I do that?

I did this on CS2 Photoshop because I need a business card - you’ve done these akwa - I want to keep it single sided for costs and also so as I can write tumblr urls and stuff on the back for Cons etc. But it’s knd of pixilated? How do I non pixilate it????

Is there some way we can form a list of all the people who promise to tag their spoilers? I know people are starting to have to blacklist the show, and with all the amazing art, fanfic and met ups that tend to get organised around this time of year, well, I don’t want people to miss out. So, I guess, reblog this if you promise to use the sherlockspoilers and bbcsherlockspoilers tag on all your set photos, discussions of spoilers, overheard conversations, whatever you think gives a new insight which Gatiss and the gang aren’t willing to give you. Finding out information is brilliant and can make you feel like the great detective himself, but some of us like to be surprised, even if it’s just by cinematography!
